Below are some signs of a healthy relationship. Both people in the relationship:

  • Show respect and care to each other
  • Trust and support each other
  • Speak freely and openly
  • Listen to each other, and value the other’s perspective and opinion
  • Make decisions together without fear, and are able to negotiate
  • Are able to accept responsibility for their mistakes and admit when they are wrong
  • Share parenting decisions and responsibilities
  • Have sex that both parties agree on
